Today we got a nine week old great dane puppy, she is 18 lbs with large paws. Her name is Prada and the kids are having lots of fun having a puppy! I know, I know, we are crazy but are enjoying having a dog!

you couldn't just get a dog - you had to get a small pony of a dog??? :) they are really great with kids - my mom loves her G.D. - bet the kids are thrilled.

I agree with Jen! Pure insanity... at least you did fullfill two dreams every kid has in one... a dog and a pony... but on the practical side, GDs do not live very long :( sad...(don't let the kids read the comments...
